ETG helped us grow from 10-15 terminals to about 150. They completely handle our IT needs for our network, practice management system and what will soon be our electronic health record system. Without them, we'd be intimidated about implementing new technology and planning for that implementation. Effectively, we brought ETG on at the beginning and they have helped us navigate what would have surely been difficult challenges for us alone. We chose ETG as an alternative to in-house IT. We believe that if outsourced IT can be provided by a quality company at a competitive price, it makes sense for organizations our size to outsource it.
Choosing an IT company can be a difficult selection process and making the wrong choice can be expensive and traumatic. Relationships are built on trust. We trust and believe in ETG and view them as a true partner that appreciates that our success will determine their success. The security we feel by being involved with them in what we feel is one of the most important parts of our business is very important to us. We truly feel we have made the right choice with ETG.

Before ETG we had 30 workstations that had to be updated independently. ETG helped us streamline our process. It's so nice to have one point of contact. They even get onthe phone with our software vendor to help us handle problems. Without them, taking care of our computers would be a full-time job. We also have 4 satellite offices, and ETG's ability to handle problems for them remotely has been such a lifesaver. And a time and money saver. We'll definitely consult with them before we make any purchases or implement any new systems. Their value is proven every day.

We've been with ETG since 2002. Our previous IT company would take anywhere from 4 days to 3 weeks to fix problems. And we'd sometimes wait 3-5 days to get even a site visit. Our physicians wanted to improve office communication because it would improve the way we take care of our patients. One of our vendors recommended ETG. David Powell listened to our wish list and goals and helped us get away from paper calendars and emails. We now have an electric note tracker and electronic records. These improvements helped us not only offer more efficient care for our patients, but also streamline our staff. We didn't let anyone go, but we didn't replace positions when they left. Now ETG is on the forefront of any business decision we make. They don't only solve problems for us, they consult with us on how to implement new systems. We are looking to put patient registration on our website. And of course ETG will help us make it happen. We don't consider them a vendor, but a partner.

Before I started working with ETG, someone from my office would come to me about an IT issue about once or twice a day. Sometimes it was a quick fix, sometimes I had to put it off, and sometimes I had to call our EMR's technical support, and stay on the phone with them to fix the issue. I was spending far too much time fixing printing, networking and hardware issues instead of focusing on patient care. It was putting me behind in my office schedule. On top of that, I wasn’t too comfortable implementing new technology. Our workstations were getting 3-4 years old, and the warranty was starting to run out. It was requiring more and more of my time. That’s why we got started with ETG. Now that they’re managing our IT network, I can simply send an email service request, and they handle any issues we have with a printer, workstation or monitor. Most of the time it is taken care of in the background, and the only way I know the problem has been handled is an email saying it’s taken care of and the ticket is closed. It has taken a lot of the IT headaches off my plate. ETG gets the issue resolved quicker, and better, than I would be able to, so I spend more time being productive as a physician and less time dealing with IT headaches.
